Anyone heard of STI 1911's?

I was asking a friend of mine that deals a lot in guns about a kimber 45. He told me that he likes STI 1911's more than Kimber. Anyone ever heard of them?

some people are like slinkies; they're completely useless, but still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.

Its a good choice but stay with the single stack versions... Its always a bonus to buy a quality product made from Americans better yet fellow Texans.

unless you have brass and a reloader I wouldn't recommend a 10mm delta

haha, if you think .45 is hard to find you're in for a treat. Yes, it is extremely difficult to find. I've never found 10mm at any range scavenging. You pretty much have to buy your used brass. It's a big hassle. I love the caliber though.

If you're a serious 10mm guy always get your 10mm here...

www.doubletapammo.com

This guy who owns this site makes some of the best 10mm loads and he usually always has it in-stock.

That trigger in the picture is a Videcki-style trigger. Bad ass.

STI 2011 is the double stack. It is a polymer frame.

They had a 10mm Tactical with rail in a 1911 showcase magazine couple of years ago. Must have been a 3k gun.
