I have a pretty standard 3-9X bushnell scope will edit with model but it really doesnt matter to go spending a lot of moneys for a rimfire scope

I like a 2-7 or 3-9 on a .22 rifle for hunting. Also I always use a low cost regular centerfire rifle scope, 1" or 30mm tube, and not the ".22 rifle" scopes with a smaller tube.

I have a 4x on mine but dont like it for my rifle. I would like a bit more magnification. I likely am going to go with a 3-9x next time.

I just picked up the Bushnell "rimfire" scope from SWFA. It's only $35 bucks 3-9 power and has the parallax setup for 50 yards which is much more aimed at the .22. Supposed to be about Bushnell banner quality for a much more affordable price. It hasn't come in yet but I'll update with a range report review etc.

4 should be more then enough at 100yrds, especially on a .22. Hell I usually have mine cranked to 4-6 on my 7mm-08 at 175 when hunting.
