wolf ammo misfires?

Just bought one of those cheap deal WASR 10-63 AK-47 with 100 rounds of free wolf ammo on christmas eve. shot it today and out of 70 rounds I had about 15 misfires. the primer is getting hit just no fire. I guy I work with says since its new the factory gun greese/rust prevention (cosmline) might be biult up on firing pin or just a soft pin. or its the wolf ammo.

Has anyone experienced wolf ammo misfire? I googled and youtubed (wolf ammo misfires) and there seems to be a problem with this ammo especially on some ak47's.

Atleast it was free. Try Barnaul or Lake City.

I've shot tens of thousands of Wolf with no problems.

15 out of 70 is unheard of.

I'd think its a gun issue.

My fail rate would be less than 15 in a 1000 rounds or so. Clean/degrease the gun and try again.

IT DEPENDS. Ive seen Wolf ammo not fire. Check the shell, if the primer is hit solid, its the ammo.

Key word here is SOLID. A light primer strike can result in a non-fire and still leave an indentation.

It's happened to me even on my .308 bolt gun.
