New Toy

I got this Classic Arms Special with intentions to make it an SBR type weapon. I don't see myself spending the cash for a Bulgarian Krink. Need some advice from the AK experts on a list of parts needed to make it happen... JrStang where you at?

That is a good and easy sbr prospect. The rear trunnion is a undrilled Romanian under folder trunnion. Centerfire sytems is selling the under folder parts kits without a barrel for $119 . You could buy that and I would buy the rest of the excess parts you wouldn't need. I am always up for spare parts.

Now if it was me I would silver solder a 5.5" flash hider ak flash hider on it now and make it a carbine. That way you could add the under folder now. When your sbr papers come back you could then remove the 5.5" brake by reheating the silver solder .

There is a guy who can make the flash hider for you to look just like the xr177 ar flash hider. I think he charged me like $45 and it looks perfect.
