Best firearm deal you've made?

Giving $150 for a leupold VX-1 4-12x40mm in box with paper work etc was one of the better.

I gave $375 for a Glock 20 in box with under 200 rounds fired through a couple of trades.

anyone have any they want to brag about.

I bought a CETME .308 for $50, $150, and $75. Those were pretty good deals - several other WW2 era bolt guns.

The best deal I have made was trading a brand new Nintendo Wii ( a couple years ago when no one could get them at Xmas time) for a brand new Springfield XD40. Guy owned a firearms training facility and probably got the gun for nothing, but I still got a good deal regardless.

Another deal I got was a guy that used to work for me bought a pistol from a customer of ours. He pawned it for $300 and gave me the pawn ticket to get it out cause he couldn't afford it. It was a Beretta 92fs full inox stainless gun from Italy. It was brand new in the box and never been fired. I bought it for $300 and have seen them selling between $1000-1400.

Never wrap it up, never pull out. Just grind up the morning after pill in her scrambled eggs at sunrise, she'll appreciate that you made her breakfast.

I bought a .22 Browning "T-Bolt" (Belgium-made) and a Ruger model 77-.22 w/leupold scope for $250. The Browning was still in the box from 1973. I still have them both.

I got a deal like this in 45 ACP with the same extras and got it for $600.00.

Also got a Kimber Tactical Custom II with only one box of ammo through it for $800.00. There was not a mark on it. The guy honestly took it to the range once and decided to get rid of it on ARFCOM.

My Kimber UC2 for $500 at a pawn shop, looked brand new and shoots great. That or the Mak90 I took as collateral for a $200 loan. Ended up getting $75 cash, a fairly new Taurus .38 special wheel gun and a complete home stereo system back instead of the cash. Not cheap crap either for the time and it all still works

I had the Highland Village PD knock on my front door and hand me a Colt Anaconda. I wasn't mine but they had been told that it was so they were being nice enough to return it to me. I sold it that week end at a gun show.

The funny thing is that I was 17 at the time.
