Ammo Score at Wally World today

I happen to be coming down the ammo aisle this morning when the guy was putting up boxes of ammo. Picked up a 100rd pack of .380 and some .40cal.

I always go to Academy, they always seem to have target ammo in stock.

Timing is everything. I picked up 100 rounds of .38 Spl, .357 Mag, and 9mm several weeks ago. I would have gotten the lone 100-round box of .45 ACP remaining but I was running out of moolah.

I'm getting real tired of the Wally World shuffle.

I've been to both stores close to me several times over the past two months and neither have any ammo to speak of, especially in .45.

Thank God the new Academy over by my casa had some WWB in 100 pks last week, or I'd be SOL.

was in wally world in the colony last night. Lots of 40, a box or two of 357 and 380. Lots of .22. And 3-4 notes inside the case for people wanting a call when they get any .45 in.

I've been thinking of getting a 9mm, but I've been seeing a lot more .40 lately, so I might be getting a .40.

Got 5 dollars if you take all those notes and replace their # with mine.

Found plenty of 9mm and .40 S&W WWB at my Walmart today (I-30 and Cockrell Hill Rd.) but no .45 ACP. Even more 9mm and .40 S&W in the Federal brand.

No shit, I have not seen that much ammo in a wallie world since January

All men should know Honor first, above all else!

Honor is not holding your hand out for something you did not earn.
Honor is not forcing your ideas, or belief on others.
Honor is not something given to you by way of job, or title.

Honor is learned, earned, practiced and respected by all decent men and women.

Went to the other Walmart by me (Wheatland and I-20) and scored some Winchester Bonded .45 ACP (they had some in .40 S&W to) that I had never seen before. Picked up a 550 pack of .22 LR for my 10/22 and considered some .223 but decided against it. Figured I'd save my money and find a better deal on some bulk ammo online.

I've been to the range a lot less this year with my 9mm(s) due to a lack of replacement ammo. I can't wait until the shelves start looking like that up here.

Dick's (NE Mall) had a few boxes of WWB .45 yesterday but it was $49.99 per 100pk so I passed up on it.

Jose, that's a good deal on that Winchester JHP.

I had never seen it before at Walmart but have heard it's the replacement for the Talon ammo. Normally I would get the WWB HP ammo to supplement an occasional box or two of "high dollar" self defense ammo. Might go back and snag a little in .40 S&W.

Ammoman has the same ammo for about half the price if you are willing to buy a case. If anyone is interested in splitting a case (500 rounds for $250 of .40 S&W) let me know.
