They seem to be great guns. Only issue is they are super finicky on what kind of .22 it will digest. I personaly would rather spend the extra on a Ruger MKII or MK III or even on a Walther P22.

i am in between the p22 and the mosquito. but a $100 price difference coupled with the fact the mosquito actually fits my hand a little better may be enough to pull the trigger today. i have a buckmark that i feel is just as acurate as a mk2 or mk3, so i am looking for something a bit easier to carry, shorter barrell and such for when i am fishing so its not it the way when i sit down.

god bless.

P22 for $308 delivered ... add a $10 FFL fee (sevral FFLs do $10 fees for CHL holders) and it only would be a $15 diffrance after you paid tax on the one at academy. It might take a few more days to get in but I think it would be well worth it. I had a P22 myself a while back and it would eat just about anything I fed it, 550 round bulk packs were a snack for it. I know 03trublugt's Mosquito will only digest CCI mini mags. The $15 more that the p22 costs would repay itself very quickly in ammo costs.

Agreed. I was at Bachman a few weeks ago and dried fired the Mosquito and didn't care for the trigger pull. For a combat handgun it would be fine, for a .22 that will be a range gun I thought the pull was to heavy.
