WWB .45 ammo

Just an FYI for those who might be looking for the WWB .45

Academy (new store) on N. Tarrant & 377 has the WWB in .45 100 pks for $41.xx per. Not sure if it's a good price since I heard Wally-Mart sells it pretty cheap, but I thought I'd throw it out there anyway.

I got 3 boxes and it looked like they had 4 or so left.

Yeah, I've called every Wal-Mart within 15 miles of me and not one has had any in month's.

I did find some Fed American Eagle for $195.00 per 500rnd box at ammunitiontogo.com.
Just not sure if it's any good or not (clean/shoots straight etc..).

For only 3 cents cheaper per slug, it should be "NEW" , IMO. I double checked and nowhere does it say either way (new vs reload). That's BS. They should at least warn you of it.

I honestly don't know for sure, but I remember hearing they were reloads.

I bought a couple of boxes of 100 Round .45 ACP WWB the other day at Wally World along with the .30 cal carbine ammo I had never seen there before. I see it fairly regularly at the Walmart's I frequent, just not a whole lot of it.

The Walmart on Wheatland and I-20 has about 24 boxes of 100 Round .45 ACP WWB if anyone is interested. Didn't need any right now.

Really? Where you just in the area? Weird that they didn't have any Saturday but did on Sunday. We are talking about the Walmart in Duncanville off of Wheatland right?

Only saw it that one time at the Walmart on Cockrell Hill and I-30. Even the manager was surprised to see it (wouldn't he have order it?). Here's a pic of the price.

Yes, I went by there on my way to Lancaster Airport for the Cold War gig. We took I-20 all the way to I-35, so I must have passed by there.
