That is very interesting. I like how they have the fam's G.I. guns stored together and how they evolve over the years. Too bad there are too many candy asses and knuckle heads here that would never happen. Drive by's with M-16's instead of AK's lol.

What's not to love? Beautiful landscape, the most reasonable of the European governments, guns galore and you're right next to everywhere in western Europe. I got accepted to a tiny ass American accredited university in Lugano and I often regret not going.

Lol they are the only ones that have it right... Not even here... Over in Switzerland its MANDATORY that you have a gun.... And their constitution isn't being bombarded by liberals that want to abolish the constitution.

Incredible story and I did not know Switzerland had anything like that.

I love the stickers in his gun cabinet, greatness!

I have to agree with a quote from former Treasury Secretary William E. Simon: "Bad politicians are sent to Washington by good people who don't vote."

No shortage of of yard birds; the cost of living is just that high. Most older people there can only afford to eat meat once per week.

You also have no idea how much of an armed camp that country is. See that cute looking barn in that old ladies back 40? It has 2 tanks in it. That late teens young man in the coffee shop that is carrying a large duffel bag? He has a SMG in it and about 500 rounds in loaded magazines stuffed into it.

These guys also hunt ducks with rifles; seriously. You don't know what good shooting is until you have seen a man drop a FLYING duck at 100m with his issue SIG 550.

Have they had a crazy idiot go shooting up a place like so many other countries? I bet the knowledge that many others are armed in almost every place a shooting would take place stops that.

I doubt that any of the police over there have ever worked a crime where a gun had been used. Gun crimes in the USA are just symtoms of other social problems. They have none of the social problems associated with gun crime as seen in other industrialised countries like drugs or urban deprivation. Even without rigid gun laws, firearms are strictly connected to a sense of collective responsibility. Early in life Swiss men and women associate weaponry with being called to defend their country. That is why the government sells surplus weapons to the public with zero restrictions.

I almost forgot something. In 01 some guy shot 14 people at a government building before killing himself. They also have a few crimes of passion style murders every year. They also require a carry permit to carry every day if not using the weapon in an offical capacity.

Which school is that? I don't know where the school my wife went to is in Swizerland, but it's called Les Roches:
