AR15 price check

What is this worth to you guys right now as a package? What if the rifle worth on it's own? I believe the Eotech might go for 300-350 used?

(new) Rock River Lower and Rock River Buttstock
hogue grip and
(~250 rounds thru it)Yankee Hill Upper which has the following:

T- marked A3 Flattop upper 5.56
16" Chrome Lined HBAR 1:7 twist Barrel
YHM Low Profile gas block
12" YHM Diamond Free Float Handguard with YHM end Cap.
Troy Industries Medieval Flash Hider
CAA Forward Pistol Grip with light
2-30 Round Mags
Eotech 512 which uses AA batteries

Trying to make myself feel better for dropping the cash.

It could be a 1000 gun or a 600 gun. Depends on the buyer.

What you might call solitude is something i look forward to.

He is wanting 1200 for it. I would be able to purchase the rifle minus the Eotech for 600? That seems low to me, but i also haven't priced anything since things started to stabilize.

Right, however these things usually have a standard value

Offer him $550 for it minus the EoTech and see if he will take less than $600 for it. I would even pay the $600 he is asking for it. EoTechs are cheap, you can pick one up for $350 or so pretty easy. Heck you could even run an Aimpoint clone on there and have a running working plinker for about $700. Over time you can upgrade the crap out of it. I went from having a box stock rifle to buy parts bit by it and then replacing then with better stuff over time to give myself this on a very small budget.

No, he isn't asking 600 for it. You said earlier 900 would be a fair price to sell. I deducted 300 for the EoTech price and came out with 600. I guess I have been out of the game for a while, but I haven't seen any mild modded ARs for 600.

He wants 1200 for the setup.

Where the heck can I buy a decent AR for 600?! The only place I can think of is that "AR mystery bin" where they pull one out for you.

Right now with the current prices you can build your own simple A2 milspec AR for $600 easy.

So how will the bargain bin rifle compare to the one I posted?

700 to get it home in my possession
300/350 for a Eotech 512
~60 for CAA grip
not sure how much for the rail.

I wanting a similar rifle to the one I posted. Am i going to save money buying it part by part or adding onto a bargain rifle? With the bargain rifle and say purchasing an Eotech i'm already at 1k.

I would offer him 800 for the rifle, just the rifle. Not included in the price would be the EOtech. Just mount a simple Red dot and you will be fine. I did that with mine, just had to have a friend bench it real well for sighting. But man can it make half dollar groups at 100 yards with a cheap ass 25 dollar red dot.

Haha, well, nevermind on this item. i'll do some searching around for something else.

When I told him I need to research more before i make a decision due to opinions the rifle was overpriced, he got all butt hurt and said he wouldn't sell it to me. lol

i told him to come defend himself on this board since he is local. Never met such an emotional sales person before!

There you go getting all emotional again. I bet you were crying while typing that last email.

It's okay, at the rate you're going you might as well put a ring on that AR!

You sure would make a bad salesman, getting emotional like a little girl because someone didn't give your item the credit you thought it deserves.

Here's a specific quote from ex-military, "After seeing it I wouldnt pay more than $900 for it. Its got alot of tactical shit on it but non of it is really worth a crap, its all lower end stuff."

Good luck with your emotional sale!

DFWSTANGS.net, come say hello, you'll see the thread in the armory. Make an account and post up!

I'm telling you what I've read and I want to verify information before spending 1200 on something. I don't care if it cost me a deal. You act like you're the only one out there with an AR15 for sale.

Whoever you are getting your info knows nothing about this gun! The 12" quad rails are 250 dollars, the Flash hide was 70, the Buttstock was 120, the light and forward pistol grip were 125 dollars, the Eotech was 300 dollars. Just the extras on this gun cost $865 dollars. You were going to get the gun for $335 dollars but I just changed my mind. Please go buy someone elses Cheap AR for 800 dollars, I will keep this one. Let your source know they just cost you a deal on a great gun. I dont appreciate being jerked around like this.

thank You.

Frank,

Got your emails. I posted up a local forum for a price check since it's a been a while since i've purchased any firearms. I haven't purchased since the chaos during election.

I'm being told it's an 800 dollar rifle minus the Eotech, so i'm researching and trying to get more opinions. I'm still on call over here so can't do anything today, but am hoping for a final decision tomorrow.

Thanks,
Brien

All men should know Honor first, above all else!

Honor is not holding your hand out for something you did not earn.
Honor is not forcing your ideas, or belief on others.
Honor is not something given to you by way of job, or title.

Honor is learned, earned, practiced and respected by all decent men and women.

Its a good time to buy a ar. You can find some good deals. I know one place selling colt 6920's for 995.00.

If you want todo it on the cheap and wait a few months a del ton 16inch m4 kit is cheap or the cmmg bargin bin rifle.

What you might call solitude is something i look forward to.

You can build one man, it isnt hard. I assembled my own kit over time. I ended up only putting about 600 into a brand new dpms lower and a rock river upper, everything else I bought over time. I think I only have about $1250 in my rifle that i posted above. Keep in mind that i built my rifle with mostly top shelf parts for less than that jackhole did. CAA and YHM dont make much that I feel is worth a shit.
