Any one ever heard of Front sight?

Any one ever attend? Or know any thing about them?

I'm thinking about taking one or two of their courses.

Any one interested in a road trip to take the course?

The only thing the website is missing is Billy Mays.

What makes it worth traveling to? Have you looked at any local training facilities/courses? What about this place: http://www.txconcealedcarry.com/ I don't know how much better Front Sight is, but $2,500 for a class (5 day armed citizen) is a lot and you still haven't figured in travel and lodging expenses.

I haven't taken any classes through TXConcealedCarry, but I, too, have been looking at getting professional training. You looking for handgun or rifle training? For rifle I found info about http://www.appleseedinfo.org/

You looking at getting into competition shooting? You could look into one of Todd Jarrett's clases http://www.toddjarrett.com/classes.html

To be honest, I'm not sure what I'm looking for. I have a lot of specialized combat training. But you know the old saying, If you don't use it you loose it.

I was kind of interested in competition training. (Rapid accurate pistol shooting) I have 0 training in this area. Other than me pissing of the range master with me double tapping every now and then.

Thanks for the links.

Edit: Yes I've seen their facility via. DVD they sent me. They are more advanced, and have more training areas/situation training than S/F has.

A buddy of mine took it in Arizona and said it was worht it (his boss paid for it). He said at the end of the training you had to draw from concealed and put 2 in the chest (small box) and one in the head in under 3 seconds to pass the course. He said he would recommend it to anyone wanting to sharpen their skills in room to room action and stressed situations. $2500 is a lot of coin though if you're not using it for body guard or Police use.

Yes it's a lot of coin.

Insurance is expensive.
