Question Holsters and sweating

Im probably being paranoid, but recently my holster gets some decent sweat on it, which in turn makes my gun sweat. After I unholster it sometimes there is quite a bit of wetness on the slide and handle. Im thinking that is probably not good for it, even though its oiled up and what not, but I cant imagine what the inside looks like after that. Any advice? Thanks. BTW the holster is a Comp-Tac Minotaur.

A leather holster will help and just keep the gun lubed to fight against rust (metal cancer). Soon the cooler months will be here and it won't be an issue.

Part of the reason I had to stop carrying at work

Before in the summer months, I try to wear a t-shirt and tuck it inbetween the holster/me but still does get some sweat, like Hass said, just make sure its oiled up and shouldnt be much of an issue(maybe clean off the sweat when you get home)

haha thanks guys. Yeah this heat is killer. I wiped it off today and was like wtf? looked like a cold glass of water sitting in the sun. But yeah I keep it oiled so I think internally it should be fine, just makes me paranoid because i know how dampness and metal can be. Thanks again.

My Glock 27 turns 10 in December. Never had an issue with carrying it in various holsters during the summer months including many days mowing my 4 acres. All of my holsters have been Kydex Comp-Tac holsters, either IWB or a paddle depending on the length of my shirt. I really don't care for nylon or leather.

I have a Crossbreed Supertuck in horsehide. My skin beneath the holster has been wet, but nothing has penetrated through to the gun.
