Gun Prices

Have the prices for guns gone done yet? I'm thinking about buying an SKS or some kind of pump shotgun. I'd go to the gun store but it's a ways done the road and it's also 6:45 in the morning.

Shottys haven't really increased in price from what I can tell. I bought my Rem 870 18" HD from Cabela's for $350 back in Feb.

SKSs, AR and AKs are what really went up in price due to demand. The prices of ARs started going back down at the funshows a few months ago, so I am of the assumption that SKSs and AKs have followed suit.

Sks,aks have come down a little but they are in a different category. Ar's are usa made and can be made assembled by anyone with simple tools. Ak's fall under import bans and even the barrels and original receivers have not been allowed in the country for a while. Unless the batf reform bills passes or more people start using us made barrel. The ak supply will dry up. The original barrel supply is already pretty much dried up. Since obama people have been building a lot of ak's this has put a large dent in the small supply we had left in this country. There will come a time when the vedors will run out of real ak47's. This in part does not include wasr-63's as they are not a real ak47. Since they were never one to begin with.

You can build an AR that shoots 7.62X39 if you are in love with the cartridge. You will also always be able to get tons of spare parts for it.
