So I'm looking at HMRs...

And found this...

Fuckin' Hell!

lmao. Use the gun on your back you dipshit! It made me chuckle so I'd thought I'd pass it on.

Hell why not just step on its head. By the way the .17HMR works real good on fieldlarks turns them into a jelly kinda, perfect for fishing hooks.

look at the browning t bolts

I have heard great things about them, plus you get the added value of a browning. They are also straight pull if you are into that (lord knows I am).

I really dig the Ruger .17/77, but for my money, a Savage in .17HMR with a varmint-contour barrel would be a steal. I promise it shoots every bit as good as the Browning, it just isn't as pretty. If you get tired of the sheet-metal trigger group, Sharp Shooter Supply sells a nice trigger for it, and I bet you'll still come out cheaper all told.

Give me a dollar.

Savage is what we used my friend has it. Its stainless and heavy barreled shoots great.

I've been looking at the Henry's. I've got a nut for a lever action. Should be fun when plinking turtles. Kind of high at $500 compared to the others available but holding 11 rounds is nice too.
