Ar-15 question

how good are the smith and wesson m&p ar-15, this has an a3 upper?? it is the m&p15a i can get it for $$1075.00. is that a good price or is that high??

2006 F-250 King Ranch 4x4 Automatic

Dont know what they are going for now but I love mine to death, No failure yet.
I paid 849 back when.

back when as in how long ago??an that was new rite

i know i read an article somewhere online the other day where they ranked it higher than the colt. we have an order going here at my department for them for 925 right now.

yup but it was a credible site (though i dont remember who) for some reason i was thinking one of the guns and ammo writers.

Colt sold out when they started making non-milspec pins. I won't give them any of my money.

I love mine, no problems yet, I have had it over a year. Bought it for $899, and at the time there was a rebate from S&W, I cant remember if it was $50 or $100 back.

The Smith & Wesson M&P 15A has an MSRP of $1,422.00 (direct from the S&W website). The $1,075 you listed is not that far off from prices pre-obama. I purchased the M&P 15X only for the factory configured quad-rail, and have zero problems with the rifle. I don't own a Colt, so have no comparison.. I do have a RRA CAR-A4 Dominator, and the S&W is just as good IMHO.

Well how are the smith & wessons compared to a dpms, bushmaster, Olympic arms, etc

It was last january or so, There was a S&W deal where you buy the rifle for $849 and get a sigma for $100.
