I really hate guns..

They are too addictive!!!

Went to the gun show and it was RIDICULOUS. Pricing was crazy, so I still had the bug, went to a local gunshop and picked up this 1911 MKIV Series 80 Govmt Model. Ive always wanted a 1911, and I found this one for a steal. Im changing the grips, ,and going to touch up the finish a bit, but i looked at it inside and out and its flawless. Beautiful gun. I cant wait to rip on it tomorrow at the range.

Nice 1911.

I still haven't shot my Kimber. I'm looking for a nice functional holster for it......

Nice looking 1911. I was wanting to go to the gun show to pick up a new .22 for bench shooting....Guess I won't waste my time.

There were a few tables with some good deals, but for the most part it was insane what these people were asking for EVERYTHING. It wasn't just ARs and AKs that were priced high this time.

Nice Chris!
I still want a 1911, but I still have a few more to buy first

What did it set you back?

Is that a crack in the frame just to the right of the trigger (when the gun is pointed to the left)?

Sure looks like it doesn't it? Might just be a scratch in the matte finish.

Nah its a light surface scratch. Thats why I said I need to touch up the finish a bit with some polish. Theres a few spots on it with some scratches, but overall its pretty nice.

I saw some decent deals at the last one I went to. Saw a few colt and s&w 38 wadcutter guns for good prices. Check woodgrips.com they have some nice stuff.

What is not to like about it? It's THE automatic pistol that just about everything is based on.

It means that during reassembly the guy pushed the wrong direction and scratched it. Most 1911s that I have seen have them and I've done it to one of mine.

Yeah, I hate guns too, so much so that I got another one today.

If you can't tell, it's a Bersa Thunder 380 CC (concealed carry). Now I just need the card. Should make a nice carry gun for when it's inconvenient to pack 10+1 .45 acp's.

Contrary to popular belief, the 1911 is not a year designation. It is the number of kills Chuck Norris has accumulated with his Colt since it ran out of ammo.
