Thanks to 5.0_CJ for the nice work!!

I just wanted to thank 5.0_CJ for his quality work on my H&K USP .40 barrel. He took off the black finish and then polished the tip as well.

Thanks!!

I'm thinking he needs to buy a lathe and some other machinery and start making parts!

Did he charge extra, or was it a package deal?

How funny....I just saw that sitting on his counter, you must have "come" after me. I just left awhile ago from getting my "rod" polished and he threw in a good hard sharpening and polishing of my "blade".

How does it feel to get sloppy seconds?

Ok, got it back from CJ today and had to get it back together. Here are the final pics. I still would like to get some more small work done in the future. Thanks again!

Is there metal shavings in the barrel or is that an optical illusion?

Probably just some dust. I make sure any surface is perfectly clean before I ship it back out. I have an oil bathe tank with a jet to clean metal shavings out of any work pieces. Glad you liked it Jason! Thanks for letting me have a run at it.

Its just dust, the camera picks up everything!.. I saw that as well. Hey CJ. Anything I can do to fix the issue in the picture below. I guess some of the coating has came off on the peice behind the battery?.

I'm assuming you're talking about the extractor behind the breach area there. I can't tell from the picture, but it looks like it might need to be re-blued. But, to be honest that's not normally a part that wears too much on the outside, I'd have to see another picture of it, I think it caught your flash a weird way.

Yes the extractor... It looks like it used to be black and it is now starting to show a copper color below it. Hell, if I could get the black off it would look better for now. But can you fix that as well? I can get some better pics tomorrow.

there should be a roll pin that slides vertically through the slide that holds it in place.

As long as they don't start asking for knobs, I'll be okay with it.
