Scenario time

Ok im going to keep this simple, but...What would you do if you were caught up in an armed robbery with multiple assailents, (2-3)? Would you play cowboy, and duck and dive and try to take as many out as possible, or would you stfu and comply and get the robbery over with?

Now I know this is simple and other people can add to it with more details and what they would do, but lets start it off like that.

For me it would come down to survival instinct. If my instincts told me they were going to fire on me anyway I would look for any opportunity to act first. If I thought they really meant no harm (other than a simple robbery) I would have to let them finish and leave.

Either way if it ever happens, I hope I make the right decision!

different circumstances require different tactics.

With your scenario, I'd likely comply with their orders and be a good witness. 3 on 1 does not add up to good odds in a possible shootout.

I agree with this, and I think it puts others at risk however depending on their positions you might be able to take out 1 and scare the others away.

I am not gonna do anything unless, I feel like I am about to die, or if others are being executed then I will do what I can when I can. If my son is with me then the actions change.

Very few will do as they say they will. Bottom line is that when you're looking down a barrel your balls are sometimes difficult to find...

I'd try and let it go as well. I've got no desire to actually pop someone...

Hard to say, you could easily start shooting, get lucky and take all 3 out. Then get sued by someone that was hit by the exchange or glass/etc.
OR
You could start shooting and get yourself and some of the others killed.
OR
You could just go with it, and hope they dont do anything but the robbery and leave.

SOOOOO many what-ifs...
I really have NO idea what id do in that situation, I think it would also come down to if I had family/friends with me, to protect them.

You are a LEO right? I thought because of the oath you took you are required to take action. I could be wrong, just what I was thinking.

I want to make it home to see my son. If I thought I could sit back and keep my fucking mouth shut and make it out, that is what I am going to do.
