Thanks asshole.

Now I have to make a decision. Do I pay my rent and buy my baby's pampers, or do I blow it on another gun?????

I bought the Winchester Defender 1300 and a Kimber Stainless Pro TLE/RL II in the last couple of weeks.

I know I could probably turn a profit on this gun, but once I buy it, I'm sure I'd probably just keep it....

That guy is a stand up seller. I bought my old P2000 from him a while back, dude has bought it off arfcom and sold it to me for the same price 2 days after he bought it. He didnt even shoot it. If i were in the market for another stainless kimber i would buy this in a heartbeat.

The seller is a CHL instructor and wants to make sure that the buyer is a law abiding citizen. Just get a CHL so you can get in on deals like this.

I don't need a CHL to prove I'm a law abiding citizen.... Thats the whole problem with gun control. I have the rights until I do something stupid. I don't need to take a course to earn the rights afforded me in the BoR. But its his gun so I'll just get my buddy buy it for me.

Without a CHL how can you prove to a seller that you have no felonies? What he is doing isnt gun control man, its ensuring that a felon dosent buy his gun. He isnt taking any rights away from you, if you can legaly own a pistol I am sure he would sell it to you through a FFL that can do a NCIS check on ya. Just a FYI concealed carry is not a right that is afforded to you in the BoR, just one we got along the way. Why would you have your buddy go buy it for you? Just ask the guy if he will sell it to you. If he says no go buy yourself one from kimberman for $699 plus tax

I dont blame him, depending on the sale sometimes i ask that the buyer have a CHL, shit most of the time i require a photocopy of the buyer's Dl or CHL to go in my file.

I am sure it is in great shape, he take damn good care of his guns and is a stickler about buying them. Dude passed on a Kimber i was selling a while back because of a bit of lint in the barrel that didnt come off right away by blowing.

I saw that this morning and instantly thought of Matt. I briefly considered buying it, but I don't need nor really want it.

Me neither, but it would be a damn good investment that you don't have to fill out a form on...

I keep a nice rat hole for things just like this. I wouldn't have put much of a dent in it if I would have bought it, but I'm sure when the wife saw a new box in the safe the Spanish Inquisition would have begun all over again....

I don't mention anything to the woman until I go shooting with her and hand her a new pistol, she shoots it, and then she's like "I don't remember this one", and then I mentioned I picked it up a few months ago, makes shit go over easier for me. I've found normally things smooth over when you have a loaded pistol in your hands.
