Thumbs down Arm and a Leg

I shot a few boxes of .40, my AK (which they limited me to 5 boxes because they were almost out) and a few rounds of skeet, and it was $$$$$$$$$. I hope this hype goes away soon and nothing happens or else I wont have any hobbies left. lol

Yeah at least for now Skeet is somewhat cheap, I guess I will stick to that and on special occasions shoot all of mine again.

Walmart has 250 round cases of 12ga 7.5 or 8 shot for $56 box.

Just FYI. The Mansfield Walmart must have a pallet of that shit out on the floor...

There was no surplus to be had and very little manufacturers making ammo.

My dad and uncle always say ammo was expensive and hard to find.

I had no idea shotgun shells were getting that expensive. I am still shooting thru 3 cases that I already had. I have a trash sack full of Winchester AA hulls and plenty of wads and primers. Guess I need to get some powder and shot and get to reloading again.

Went skeet shooting for the first time in a year today. First round 18....Second round 22.

Is that rounds out of 25? Is that a typical "rule"? 25 clays per round?

I shot skeet for the first time today... at first I was shooting only right eye open with not very much luck. I tried with both eyes open and I started hittin' the clay. It's fun!

Yep, 25 clays per round. Shooting with both eyes is the way you need to shoot. It takes a little while to get use to.

Were you out at American Shooting Centers today too?? I was there around 12:30 for 2 rounds of skeet, then I went to the pistol rifle range after that.

Yep. I got out there around 3PM. There were alot of people out there and I didn't actually get to shoot the first round until 4:15. I am thinking about joining so I can shoot on the "member only" fields.....Less wait time.

Shoot me a PM next time next time you go. First time I have been in a while.
