I have always wanted to build a nice AR

I have always wanted to build a nice AR. I have been looking around and it seem like there are SO many different parts to choose from. I like the tactical look for sure. Can you point me to some good parts to take a look at so I can get started buying stuff.

Thanks

Best something in Texas.... just don't know what it is yet....

I built one out of a Model 1 Sales kit and it turned out really nice. It was also cheaper than buying a new one already assembled. However, that was 4 or 5 years ago and I'm not sure how much the kits are going for these days. I found very detailed and clear instructions on how to assmble the rifle on ar-15.com

Or you can go to academy and buy a Bushmaster AR-15 for 899.99 (At least they are gouging hard).

I just built (well, if you call putting an upper on a lower building) 2 complete Stag Arms M4s for just under $800 shipped.

I ordered the uppers and lowers November 8th, so the gouging wasn't in top gear yet...

$1099 now...and that is if you can find one. The Academy in Grapevine got 5 in and they were gone in 12 hours.
