Surplus 7.62x39mm Ammo

http://www.natchezss.com/product.cfm...3915&src=ba673

Natchez Shooter's Supply has Yugo 7.62x39 ammo that works out to about $232/1000 rounds. It's a good buy if you reload, because it is brass cased.

Just FYI.....

It's showing as corrosive and berdan primed.

Corrosive / Berdan primed=non-reloadable

Just FYI.....
Shipping kills it for me... shipping on two boxes (15 rd boxes) is more than the price of 4 boxes of ammo.

It shows "mildly corrosive" and Dillon sells a tool that makes berdan primed cases reloadable.

yeah I have it but it's certainly not worth it on corrosive cased ammo.

Maybe a dumb question, but bear with me...I am a complete newb at the gun/ammo thing. With this being manufactured in the 70's is it going to still be good and fire most every time?

Thanks

David

If it's been stored properly, it will go bang. I've never had surplus ammo that didn't fire every time.

If it hasn't been stored, it shows corrosion on the outside, and you can tell immdediately.

How do you think MY house will sound?

My wife has suggested that we get HazMat signs just so we can warn the fire department to back off instead of fighting the fire....
