Question AR-15 Status?

I'm looking to get one, I know many talk about buying the kit and doing it yourself but I know the lowers were very scarce currently and I heard from a gun shop last week that uppers were hard to get as well?
Have the prices came down much since the gouging?

Lowers are hard to get a hold of. I only saw 2 at the Dallas gun show yesterday and they wanted $200... up 100% from a month and a half ago.

Uppers are not hard to get...I saw a ton of them out there, and they are cheaper online. If you can get a lower, shouldnt be a problem getting an upper. Buy now before the prices keep going up.

On a side note , finding lpk's is a whole other story. Well for a reasonable price and good quality anyways.

good luck model one sales is approx. 2monthes behind last time i called and got them to answer over a month ago, they dont do lowers. just upper kits which i heard last week at the gun show if you order online will be 3-4 monthes out everyone is that way.
My friend and I have been afew and ive got 2 stag lowers and used a model one light weight car kit. No probs works flawless.
Best bet gunshow.
