Just curious if anyone has one of these guys, thinking about picking one up as a collectors item.

I'm looking primarily to collect it, they are weird looking rifles, that's for sure. I believe they were Armalite's less expensive alternative to the M-16, but when the US government started giving away M-16's like candy to foreign countries, Armalite couldn't find anyone to take them.

Well, Google says they're back in production, and the new ones take AR-15 trigger parts and magazines. Are you primarily hunting a pre-'79 model?

Give me a dollar.
