sbr questions

If i put a 16" barrel on my mac10 pistol will it be sonsidered and sbr or would it still be legal as a pistol.

It would still be a pistol, although an awkward one.

If you put a stock on it currently, it would be an SBR. Also, if you put a stock on it and the overall length, with the 16" barrel, was less than 26" it would be an SBR.

Was sorta thinking of doing a 16" barrel then adding a free float quad rail hand guard to even out it just being awkwardness of the whole thing.

Just keep in mind that if you put a vertical forward grip on the hand rail. It has to be registered as an AOW.

Thanks for the info on that. Helped me find the info on why it was considered to. Looking at it im probably best to just leave it alone and enjoy it like it is.
