Finally bought an AR...

Well technically its a pistol but still its a freaking blast to shoot and boy oh boy does it make you grin from ear to ear when the percussion smacks you in the throat and the muzzle flash makes it look like flame thrower . I picked it up from a guy at work who made me a pretty good deal on it I thought considering it was NIB and he put 100 rounds with, I have since bought 1k rounds and been having fun every since...... Hummmm maybe I should start carrying this instead of my xd45 lol.

I had another coworker tell me his son was looking to buy a new house and he is looking to sell his Bushmaster carbon 16" and a few other guns so I might be picking up one more. Anyway I just wanted to share

nice ar pistol!

i'm sure the other guys will chime in shortly but from what i have read, wolf ammo is not really the choice of most. like i said, i'm sure the others will have a lot of better info about it

badass gun either way

Yeah I know Wolf is not that great but it was free with the gun. I bought 1k rounds of Brown Bear which seams to be 100x's cleaner then Wolf. I have a few hundred rounds of Brass case shells on order as well to kinda help keep things lubed up good on the extractor.

Thanks !!!

They claim the new poly coating is supposed to be better on the new Wolf ammo but its is still awful dirty. I just punched about 100 rounds of the Brown Bear ammo threw this sucker today and it ran fine even with rapid fire. I just know I need some more mag's for this thing...... Man I wonder how heavy a 90 round drum would be on this thing.

Here is a pretty good article on the gun and the picture down at the bottom of the page with the muzzle flash is on par with just about every pull. http://www.gunblast.com/Bushmaster-Pistol.htm

Ive never had a problem shooting Wolf (In my AR, never ran wolf thru my pistols though)

I clean my rifle every time I shoot it, and dont use Wolf for long range stuff, but for shooting shit up and just wasting some ammo, I use Wolf. Never had a jam, FTF or FTE...

Same here. I've used Wolf since I bought my Bushmaster new in 1994. I've probably ran 50k rounds of Wolf through it over it's life. I used to clean it after every outing when Wolf used the laquer coating, but now that they use the polymer coating I haven't cleaned it since last year. I ran 1k rounds through it last 4th and 500 rounds through it this year and it hasn't hiccup-ed once.

Well I am on a roll now and well I guess I am going to stop buying for a lil while unless I can find a good deal on a 338LM...

I picked up this M&P today since S&W has a 50 dollar rebate .

I think you'll like that S&W, mike. My only complaint was the factory mag. If it sucks, replace it without hesitation.

Give me a dollar.

Thanks and yeah it is kinda catchy when it goes in the mag well S&W had an option of two mags or the 50 dollar rebate..... I think I can buy better and more mags then what came with it for 50 bux. I have not tried the mag in my bushy yet. I just hope they hurry up and get my fold down sights in ( they sold them off of the guns ).
