Sig Sauer .22 LR Mosquito

I'm looking at buying one or two of these.

Anyone have one, or have experience with them????

Thanks....

Last gun show I was at, I held the sig and a p22. Walked out of the show with a p22, just felt more comfy.

what's a good price for a .22? i am sorta in the market for one to take to the range and shoot more with. i dont really want a lr .22 though. sorry to threadjack, but what are the pros and cons of a lr .22 as opposed to a ??reg?? .22?

If I could get a good used one I wouldn't mind the Sig. What did the Walther run you?

The price totally depends on the gun.

.22 LR has higher velocities. Ammo is still reasonable ($11.96-13.96/550 rounds) so I'd rather use the LR ammo.

Why does this topic seem to keep coming up? I love my P22...

There are a whole shit-ton of .22 cartridges, but when somebody says ".22," they usually mean .22 Long Rifle; it's by far the most common .22 rimfire.

Works great as long as it is lubricated properly.

Can you check, or give me a number to call?

I don't want to hand someone $300 for a used gun when I can get a new one for $325 or so....

Thanks

We ran about 400 rounds through it and only experienced 2 FTFs. In both instances it ejected the spent case, it just didn't feed the next round.

I was using the reccommended CCI Mini Mag (part number 00030, a 40 gn projectile)

I found that the bulk pack (550 round) Federal box ammo would have about a malfunction about one in 10-15 rounds.
