Traded the Wakazashi for a Katana

From this thread:

https://dfwstangs.net/forums/showpost...26&postcount=1

Went back today and traded the Wakazashi for a Katana.

It looks like this one except the wood is blonde instead of the color of the wood on the sword in the link.

http://www.angelswordstore.com/index...=260&Itemid=92

This thing is even sharper than the Wakazashi. It could easily take a limb.

No, the Wakazashi was $995, the Katana was $1,595, so there's a $600 difference.

Great example of why you don't buy cheap steel:

Just imagine him sitting at the end of the hallway biting the end off his powder charge and ramming down the bullet while the intruder runs out the door with his flat panel.

I'm too old to cut off a limb accidentally.

It's just something I've always wanted.....

I plan on passing it down to my youngest son someday when he's over 25.....

I've got a Remington 700 PSS with Nightforce NXS Scope and Pelican case, 4 AR-15 style rifles, an AK-47(with 75 round drum), Rossi lever action .357 Magnum rifle, Ruger 10-22, Marlin .17 HMR, S&W Model 65 .357 Magnum, S&W 4006, Ruger GP100 .357 Magnum, Ruger Redhawk .44 Magnum, and a S&W 642 Airweight.

I think I've got all the guns I frickin' need. I've got more than I can shoot at once, and the ammo is so damn expensive I don't want to.

The Katana never needs ammo....

some people are like slinkies; they're completely useless, but still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.

Oh, come on. I'm just poking fun. It seems like a pretty nice sword, 03GT. I'd be lying if I said I didn't occaisionally ogle swords myself.

Give me a dollar.

Bingo.

I've always wanted a sword. I should have bought an NCO sword when I was in the Marines.

My 9 year old son developed type 1 diabetes and has given himself insulin shots 4-5 times a day since he was 7.

I have the utmost admiration for him for accepting responsiblity for a disease that he didn't deserve.

This sword will be my gift to him to show my respect for his inner strength in dealing with this from such a young age.

It definitely takes strength to be able to inject yourself like that. At least it sounds like he's got good support from his dad and that is a strength in itself.
