.308 ammo

Wanted to know if anyone here has shot this stuff from a semi-auto and how good it really is. 7.62x51 has really been going up, not that it was ever cheap, but damn.

Never used it, but looks fine to me.

7.62x51 use to be the cheapest rifle round you could buy along with 8mm.

I remember buying 1200rnd cases of 7.62x51 under $100.

just get monarch ammo from academy. Honestly, if you're just going to be plinking, theres no reason to spend that kind of money unless you're reloading brass. 200 rounds of monarch will run you $89 before tax. It's steel cased, but it shoots fine, and it has decent grouping - it's no match grade but it's definitely worth the price. Some poeple have given me their opinions of the Lithuanian ammo and said it's okay, but to stay away from the indian ammo.
