Its more like a muzzle brake...

There are/have been silencers made for shotguns, they are for the most part useless or dont work worth a fuck.

it is possible to suppress a shotgun, it fires subsonic ammunition...however it is very hard on the silencer since controlling the projectile path is near impossible.

I got off the phone to a guy in Tennessee and asked him about this. He does suppressors and weapon mods. He told me to just save my money as they don't really work and are pretty much useless

I'd really like a supressed Ruger .22 pistol. Ammo's cheap, and the terminal ballistics are better than hushed 9mm. They actually start to approach supressed .45acp.

Give me a dollar.

i could see a silencer working on a shotgun if it was built into the actual barrel, and used a porting to expeal the gases into the silencer. That would keep a wad of buckshot stable until it exited the barrel.

The lack of ending in that movie pissed me off. It's not cool to not end a movie now....it's been done too damn much....bastards.
