More AR questions

1. What's pre-ban vs. post-ban?

2. If I buy a rifle kit minus the lower receiver then a lower receiver, will I need any special tools to put the lower assembly together?

someone correct me if I'm wrong but post ban stuff doesn't have flash suppressors or bayonet lugs. you know, the evil baby killing type of features.

Pre ban vs. post ban means jack these days. Dealt with rifle during the 10yr AWB.

When it did mean something, it was evil features (pre ban) vs. no evil features (post ban)

(P.S installing your front take down pin can be pesky, the detent might want to become a projectile while you're trying to get the pin started. What i did was used a small flat head from the other side to hold the spring and detent down while i slid the pin in ,,worked great.)

I'm with everyone else so far on this one. The only difference that I know of between pre and post ban is the bayonet lug. Never even thought about the flash suppresors.
