ATN Ultra Sight

Anybody ever use one of these? Worth buying?
Something better in the price range for an AR 15?

I just can't see spending so much for an eotech ($450+). I am not sure I want or need enhanced sights as I do most of my practice barely using sights but it seems like every AR that I see is pimped out with some kind of sight and pounds of other junk. Do the sights really help that much?

Accuracy wont be much better than iron sights with a non-magnifying optic, but target acquisition with an eotech or a red dot is much MUCH faster.

eotech is well worth the money IMO.. even at 50 yards its much easier for me to acquire the target.

prefer the eotech's dot in circle design to the aimpoints single dot... redundant is never a bad thing

I was looking at the EoTech until I heard about several (at least 5) EoTech malfunctions. There seems to be a problem with them malfunctioning and running the battery out in 2 days. They no longer self time out and stay on.

The manufacturer is aware of the situation, and has sent out parts to fix it, but the fix has not worked.

I'm now in the market for an Aimpoint....

By the way, if anyone is set in their ways for an EOTECH, www.sportsmansguide.com has them for about $320 for the "Buyer's Club" price.
