Red where do you live? Cause i'd sure like to go shoot with you sometime. It's not everyday you get a chance to shoot guns like those.

Over five thousand years ago, Moses said to the children of Israel, "Pick up your shovel, mount your asses and camels, and I will lead you to the Promised Land." Nearly 75 years ago, Roosevelt said,"Lay down your shovels, sit on your asses, and light up a camel, this is the Promised Land." Now Obama has stolen your shovel..., taxed your asses, raised the price of camels and mortgaged the Promised Land!

Just practice chalk rounds. I didnt know if DDs were gonna be allowed, so I left some good stuff at home.

In March we'll be going to another shoot. Where I'll bring buckshot, flechets, etc. Also may have a buddy bring some live HE rounds for us to bust off. The range was kinda smallso we couldnt have used anything to great due to distance.

Do DD's have the same $200 tax stamp as other stuff... and is it per round?

And in the first pic, dead center, what is that with the pistol grip? It looks like a Garand, but I've never seen a pistol grip on one.

A DD like a grenade launcher carries a $200 tax. Flechette, buckshot, etc rounds dont carry a DD tax. BUt live HE rounds if one could buy them would carry a seperate $200 tax and be registered DDs because of explosive capabilities and youd have to show proof of destruction and be able to leglly store the rounds.

The gun you're referring to is an M14. The stock on it was a govt idea to make the M14 a more controllable weapon under full auto, under the name M14e2. It helps over a regular M14 stock, but it's still a POS.
