the H&K is a great gun... feels perfect in my hand, its a lot thicker than, say, a 1911 but the gun is a lot easier to rapid fire and control.

as far as balance goes, it's perfect.

the price is high, but as i tell people.. its like buying stuff for your car. if you buy autozone parts, you get autozone quality.

other guns i really really like: taurus 24/7 and springfield xd series.. both of those are 400-500, so you CAN get quality for less.

my friend got a USP .45 Fullsize for 350 extremely gently used (pretty much NIB, fired a few rounds down range a couple times) from a guy liquidating his collection

right place right time i guess.

guess so!.. thats less than half what i paid for my hk

and the front grip... hand/wrist/arm dont contact the magazine, its pretty stable while firing standing up. of course, the grip is adjustable so i COULD move it further down the rail if it caused any problems
