Resisting the urge to buy things I don't really need...

Gotta save for the gun show in a few weeks. I almost bought one of the flashlights, the 3 mag pouch that goes in a tac-case, and a sling.

That's a great price on the Pentagon Tac Light... I've got one and I love it.

Over five thousand years ago, Moses said to the children of Israel, "Pick up your shovel, mount your asses and camels, and I will lead you to the Promised Land." Nearly 75 years ago, Roosevelt said,"Lay down your shovels, sit on your asses, and light up a camel, this is the Promised Land." Now Obama has stolen your shovel..., taxed your asses, raised the price of camels and mortgaged the Promised Land!

I've got a Surefire light for my XD...love that little bastard.

I've never been real big in to shotguns or rifles, but I'm thinking about buying an M4. What would I use something like that for? Do people honestly hunt and shit with those things? Or are they just for fun?

I hunt with mine, I just made a plug for the extension out of plastic rod on a lathe.

Its way more comfortable to shoot expecially the big goose loads.

The first gun I ever shot was an M-16.

And I shot expert marksman (48/50...from 100, 200, 300 meters). Ever since then I've been spoiled and try to shoot as often as possible. I'd like to get an M4...friggin wicked lookin guns. $700-1000 is a lot of coin to drop on a gun though. Hell, my XD was $570 brand new and I thought that was a lot.

That's the one I was looking at. Looks like a run of the mill M4.
