So I took my 10/22 out today

The litter fuckers accurate as shit, bought it at a gun show for $363 after taxes. It has a green mountain fluted barrel, a hogue stock, a volquartsen trigger group and bolt. I bought a new nikon "buck masters" 4.5-14 variable power scope for $200 put that sucker on and the thing is so fun to shoot.

Anyone else have a little target .22?

i got a nice scope to replace a simmons 3x9 that came on my 270 so i said why not and threw in on my marlin model 60. Never thought i could group so well at 50 yards. Everyone should throw a big power scope on a 22.

I am about to build one with a 18" heavy barrel, boyd blaster stock, some trigger work, harris bipod, and a fairly decent mil dot scope. Hope to be getting something less than .25 moa at 50 yards and .5 moa at 100. ***JOSH***

I'm not a very experianced shooter (only been to a gun range twice) and i was getting .50 moa @ 50 yards. Hopfully ill be going to the range more often.

I have a 10/22 with a bull/fluted barrel, Hogue Stock, trigger group, and a 3-9x Simmons scope on it. At 50 yards I can hit the spent casings of the 22 if I stack them up on a beam. On the target I can consistently hit the previous bullet hole by a previous shot on the paper. When I'm done with the target, I can take out the staples that hold the target to the backboard.

My little 10/22 loves Winchester Super-X Shells. I've tried Remmington and have had fliers for some reason.

The only thing I don't like about my 10/22 is shooting another rifle then switching to the 10/22. That little 2lbs trigger can be dangerous.

But again, the 10/22 is fun to shoot. If I ever get the chance to take it out turkey hunting, it will be my gun of choice this year. I think I'm going to use it over the 12ga shotgun.

Here is my 10/22.

The target below was with just brick ammo at 50 yards. With some GreenTag , I can step it out to 100 yards and really challange myself. Its a carbon barrel, some trigger parts that I smoothed out, and a custom stock. I have spent many a sundays sitting in the back of my truck with it killing terrorist cans that pop up
