Picking up S&W M&P .45 tell me no?

think we finally decided to replace the ruger with the M&P .45 since S&W is offering a rebate and 2 extra mags free.

You'll shoot your eye out kid!

You are not free whose liberty is won by the rigour of other, more righteous souls. Your are merely protected. Your freedom is parasitic, you suck the honourable man dry and offer nothing in return. You who have enjoyed freedom, who have done nothing to earn it, your time has come. This time you will stand alone and fight for yourselves. Now you will pay for your freedom in the currency of honest toil and human blood."

NO
Buy a Sig P229 instead. LOL

Actually, I looked at the M&P's before I bought my Sig. They are nice, but decided to go with a P229 instead.

M&P is excellent polymer gun.

Springfield 45 holds 13.

Shot an M&P .40 at the bullet trap today, was very impressed. I heard they were at the gun show for $409

Yep, my mother-in-law and brother in law both picked up M&P Compact 9s for right at $400/ea @ the Gun show this past weekend...
Saw the same ones at a local store for $500~

The $50 rebate is also a plus, and the 2 free mags, seems like a pretty good deal.

It was still $100 cheaper at the gunshow that it was at any local shop

Oh, and typically the subcompacts are the same price, and in some cases more than the full size models.

If I were worried about bear, I'd take a .44 Magnum.

40 miles west of FT worth not sure about the bear issue. Mainly just Mountain Lion or Hogs neither of which would be much of an issue

Never wrap it up, never pull out. Just grind up the morning after pill in her scrambled eggs at sunrise, she'll appreciate that you made her breakfast.

Are you looking for something for concealed carry, or something to stop bear/mountain lion/hogs?

I'm not sure how well .45 ACP would do against hogs, mountain lions, bears, or anything else you might run into at a deer lease, but I know that you wouldn't have any trouble stopping them with a .44 Magnum. I would take a .44 Magnum.
