Walmart Rifles

The other day I was at the local wal mart in Waco and they were selling the Remington ADL synthetic for 300 even. I'm not positive but that sounded like a great deal. Are these however inferior to other Remington firearms?

You're going to have to be more specific. There is no current Remington ADL, so it's probably an older model. I believe it was a 700 with a synthetic stock.

It's probably well worth the $300 asking price, what caliber was it?

Also check out the Remington website for the $30 rebate.

yes they were the older black synthetic Remington's and they were marked 700 ADL. They had about 6 of them 30-06, 243, 7mm and a couple others. All for 300 or 325 depending on the caliber. Also they had a number of weatherby's black synthetic for 400 same story with those as well

They're marked that way, because that's Wal-Mart's system for ya. They probably don't even realize that the gun is an SPS, not an ADL. There's nothing wrong with them if that's what you're asking. I picked up a model 70 from Wal-Mart for $300 one time, and it didn't know the difference.

Give me a dollar.

Academy has some pretty damn good deals as well . The model 700 is a good rifle and there is a lot available for it aftermarket as well . I bought a model 710 and there isn't hardly shit out for it yet .

Well that figures ....... The gun itself is ok but the bolt action kind of sucks . The 700 is way smoother .
