Best bang for your $

I'm looking into getting my gf a gun that she can carry as I'm about to sign us both up for a CHL class. I was wondering what is the best gun on the market for a girl and one that isn't going to brake the bank. I might also be in the market for a new hand gun for myself also. What do yall guys that carry on a daily basis recomend. Currently I own a .45acp taurus that is a compact, does anyone think I will have any issues carrying this gun as in how comfortable it will be. Here is my gun.

My other vehicle is a Locomotive.

Don't cupple up without protection.

.45 is one of the best (if not the best) for defense. In a compact, you should be able to conceal it fine. A good quality holster would be nice, and also enable you to carry it easier.

Something cheap and small?

Kel-Tec. P-32 or P-3AT.

It's got some bark and it can be a bit rough on the hand, but it gets the job done and is highly concealable.

I bought my wife the Kel-tec 9mm. Its a great gun, but I think we should have went with a 38 special. Its a little hard for her to chamber a round, and that ain't good in a life and death situation.

Your defense gun should be chambered before you get into a life and death situation.

A gun without one in the pipe is nothing more than an expensive hammer.
