Good gun range in N.Dallas??

I wanna take the "wife" to a gun range for some fun target practice.. I went to Target masters in Garland a decade ago and had a great time. Any suggestions for shooting ranges in N.Dallas??

You should try south Dallas, there are a lot of moving targets down there

Try the Bullet Trap in Plano. They are on Ave K and Park next to Whataburger (or behind it depending on how you look at it). It is indoor and from what I have heard it's not a bad place.

I actually live in the apts right across the street from it (at least till tomorrow) and can hear the guns blasting all the time.

X2. I am a member there and like their facility. Read the range rules carefully, they will ask you a question from it.

Looking for sponsorships for 2010 on the car above... PM for details and schedule.

I like Gibson's as well. Been there a few times now.

Guys can be crusty, but just trying to keep everything safe.

Conversation:
Yes, it is unloaded.
Yes, the chamber is open.
Oops, not pointed down range.

Wish the range was longer than 200 yards. 300-500 would be great.

They have reloading supplies.

true but that's just cause you have to walk down the line and change your targets! they want all precautions taken so if an accident were to happen they would be covered as best as possible.

lol, my ak doesnt keep chamber open. i had to insert an empty shell in

I used to frequent the bullet trap as well. Expect to pay rediculous prices however. I'm not pleased with them anymore really.

And remember to inform the range worker...the brady bunch is a great family show.

They must have changed it because Barney used to be the great family show.

Over five thousand years ago, Moses said to the children of Israel, "Pick up your shovel, mount your asses and camels, and I will lead you to the Promised Land." Nearly 75 years ago, Roosevelt said,"Lay down your shovels, sit on your asses, and light up a camel, this is the Promised Land." Now Obama has stolen your shovel..., taxed your asses, raised the price of camels and mortgaged the Promised Land!

It varies depending on which paper you read from.

I really like Bullet Trap if I'm only shooting pistols and bring in my own ammo. Other than that, I used to go to Garland Public Shooting Range off of Pleasant Valley. I haven't been there in awhile now. If I remember right they didn't allow FMJs there.

Where is Gibsons Outpost? I've never heard of it.

You would probably have more fun taking her deep into the woods for some target practice. Oh, and bring an industrial-size garbage bag and good shovel!

Shit, that's what I'd do when she got fat and/or I got tired of her constant nagging and bitching.
