I went but didn't find anything interesting other than some refurbed Glock 22's for $389. Was tempting but just couldn't pull the trigger!

I did notice one thing though, gun prices have gone up quite a bit since this time last year. I guess the fears of gun control are driving prices up...?

Looking for sponsorships for 2010 on the car above... PM for details and schedule.

I'm a mod motor GOD! LOL!

Gun prices have been going up for years.

Example:

I bought a lot of guns years ago but heres a few examples:

I paid $300.00 For a Loaded Springfield 1911A1 .45ACP... They go for over 700 now
I paid $500ish for a Springfield M1A (M14) They now go for over 1100
I paid $49 for a SKS ... They are like 180ish now
I paid $99 for a AK-47 They are 300+
I paid $250 for a Mini-14 They are 500+ now...

So on and so on..

I wish I would have bought the M1 Garand when they were $75.00 ......
Or that M1 Carbine for $99

I remember as a kid walking into the Sears at Seminary South (Now Town Center Mall) and seeing M1 carbines still in cosmoline thrown in galvanized GI cans with something like $25.00 price tags hanging from the trigger..... Am I telling my age now?

List prices were about the same as mail order as far as I could tell.

Save a few bucks on not paying shipping.

I saw some of those snubby pistols I have been eyeing: S&W and Taurus. They were cheaper at show than anywhere else.

Bersa magazine I got for 30$. I think it is 38$ online.

Nope

But my dad says not buying machine guns when they were cheap was his biggest regret in buying guns. Seriously, who wants to pay a tax on something that is more than you paid for the gun.............
