CC revolver for female

Looking for a small revolver for CC for female.

.38 Spl or .357 magnum

Rossi - cheap ($300), model 462

S&W - Airweight (Centennial, LadySmith), 5 rounds, internal hammer, double action, $$$, models 327, 60, 637, 642

Taurus - 7 rounds, cheap, model 617

I think the Taurus is a good choice. But not sure about the exposed hammer for CC. S&W is only 5 shot.

Plan on buying used if S&W, else new. S&W will hold its value?

What does LadySmith and Centennial give you over base model?

S&W 642
5 shots, if the first 5 didn't do it, what will 2 more do.

depending on how she carrys, exposed hammer may or may not be an issue.

I bought my wife 3 pistols before she settled for a beretta tomcat. I hate it but it is her gun. I also got her a glock 26 and the 642. I thought the 642 was a keeper.

Only one I could think of that wasn't mentioned.
My wife carries a S&W .38 Special snub nose sealed hammer with her. Neat little gun and doesn't weigh a lot.

The Taurus hammerless 5 shot .357 is my daily. Love it!!! It'll hold value as well.

I think that is a semi-auto. I am interested in revolvers.
Thanks.

If she wants, she can shoot my Taurus to see if she likes it. You can always go with some .38 rounds if it's a little too much.
