I'm considering a job in San Antonio on one of the bases there. I spent the first 20 years of my life in TX but never lived in SA other than a couple of months in boot camp. I've been living in southern Cali for a while now, I was just wondering what you guys think of your home town compared to LA? It's great here but there's way to many people, everyone knows about the housing problem here, etc etc. I'm sure SA has it's problems too but I have no idea what they are....what do you think?
If you're coming from LA, you might feel at home with the Mexican culture in San Antonio. I think Census place said it was 51% Hispanic like 2-3 years ago. Don't expect it to be the big city. SA is pretty laid back.
San Antonio is pretty sweat but if your looking to live down there you better have a degree in something because there no money down there lived their for years and love it but hard to find a job unless you have a degree or you just get lucky and find a good job...
Yea san antonio isnt a bad city its very laid back.....there is always something going on u just have to listen for the events
