With Jake Delhomme and Seneca Wallace banged up with injuries, its rumored that Colt McCoy is going to make his pro NFL debut against the #1 defense in the Steelers this weekend.

I'll be watching the game anyway, but I'm anxious to see how Colt does. I think it's a bad game for him to make his starting appearance as I think he'll be in way over his head, but i'd like to see the guy do at least better than Delhomme. For his sake, not Cleveland's.

Hell, why not? His injury left Gilbert in a similar situation against 'Bama in the Nat'l Championship game. I'd like to see him play, regardless of the situation.

I thought I read that he had been released. Did they bring him up from the practice squad?

There's a press release from an hour ago that says the "Browns may turn to McCoy", due to injuries.

He was never released or on the practice squad, he has been on the 53 man roster the entire time. What you remember hearing was a mere rumor started by the media.

Colt is going to be in big trouble come sunday. The running game is suspect with hillis dinged up, their receivers are proably the worst in the league, and the o-line played like dog shit last week. I'd imagine they will use the wildcat quite a bit and try to force feed the run - thank god for NFL Redzone, I only have to see a little bit of the carnage.

Oh - the browns didn't have harrell, and just signed Brett Ratliff of the Pats practice squad as insurance.

He is on the GB roster as the 3rd string. Matt Flynn has been, and still is, the backup for Rodgers. Not that I really have much faith in either of them as a starter in this league.

I'm sure the coach play it safe. It only takes one shot in the NFL, and you could be flipping burgers at Mickey D's.

The Browns signed Brett Ratliff to the active roster and terminated the contract of wide receiver Sam Aiken.

The Cleveland Browns signed quarterback Brett Ratliff off New Englandís practice squad, the team announced. In addition the club terminated the contract of wide receiver Sam Aiken.

Originally signed by the New York Jets as an undrafted free agent on May 12, 2007, Ratliff spent the 2007 season on the Jetsí practice squad and 2008 season as the third quarterback for all 16 games before being traded to Cleveland on April 25, 2009. Ratliff served as the third quarterback with the Browns for the first 14 games of 2009 and the backup for the final two contests. He was waived by Cleveland on September 4, 2010 and spent parts of the 2010 season on the practice squads of Jacksonville and New England.

A two-year letterman at the University of Utah (2005-06), Ratliff completed 228 of 391 passes for 2,796 yards with 23 touchdowns and nine interceptions. Born on August 8, 1985, the 6-4, 224-pound Ratliff is a native of Chico Calif., where he attended Chico High School.

He will wear uniform number 5.

Guess that is your answer lol....

I thought Graham Harrell was a talent scout for Oklahoma State? That's the last I heard at least.
