Don't get into the whole home field thing.....There was a lot of ass kicking in the DFW area in the NFL and MLB this weekend......you wanna guess who the home teams were and what the scores were ? LOL....it may hold true elsewhere but our teams aren't biased as to where they take an ass-whooping.

(4-1-0) Baltimore Ravens @ (3-1-0) New England Patriots
(1-4-0) Cleveland Browns @ (3-1-0) Pittsburgh Steelers
(3-1-0) Kansas City Chiefs @ (3-2-0) Houston Texans The Chiefs have really surprised me. They hung tight yesterday and I think the Texans are doubting themselves.
(1-4-0) Detroit Lions @ (3-2-0) New York Giants
(4-1-0) Atlanta Falcons @ (3-2-0) Philadelphia Eagles
(2-2-0) Seattle Seahawks @ (4-1-0) Chicago Bears
(3-2-0) New Orleans Saints @ (3-1-0) Tampa Bay Buccaneers I'll go with the Saints, but may change my mind.
(3-1-0) New York Jets @ (2-3-0) Denver Broncos Depends what Denver team shows up. They got rolled yesterday. Maybe McDaniels will see the value in a running game...at some point...
(2-3-0) Oakland Raiders @ (0-5-0) San Francisco 49ers Bye Bye Mike Singletary
(1-3-0) Dallas cowboys @ (1-2-0) Minnesota Vikings Bye Wade!
(3-2-0) Indianapolis Colts @ (3-2-0) Washington Redskins Indy won yesterday when they should have lost. They don't quit.
(3-2-0) Tennessee Titans @ (3-2-0) Jacksonville Jaguars

Well fuck... I just picked the Broncos to beat the Jets but now I highly doubt it. They just announced Brian Dawkins (knee), Darcel McBath (ankle), Andre' Goodman(thigh) are all ruled out for the next game. As well as Robert Ayers (leg) and Wesley Woodyard (hamstring).

Still waiting on the status of Demaryius Thomas (head/neck)

I'm changing up that pick!

Very disappointing season for Dallas, indeed. You think they are just about ready to win and then they just completely fuck it up.

I'm surprised so many of you are picking the Vikes. We'll see how they do tonight against the Jets, but as bad as Dallas is playing this year, I think the Vikings are even worse.

I will take the boys for some redemption and the fact they should be pretty focused to actually win.

On that note, I'm taking the Oakland Raiders.

Lmfao!!! desperation bowl.

Times to get tougher for either Vikes or 'Boys
Randy Moss returns to Minnesota.
(David Drapkin / Associated Press)

The storyline
Two playoff teams from a year ago meet in the Desperation Bowl. The loser here might be done.

Why you should watch
Randy Moss gets pumped up to play Dallas; everything Brett Favre does now is under a massive microscope on and off field. Will it impact his play?

Did you know?
Tony Romo became only the third quarterback in Cowboys history to throw for over 400 yards last week. ... Dallas' Miles Austin has three 100-yard receiving games already this year. ... Brett Favre is 10-1 in his 11 starts at the Metrodome as a Viking. ... Moss is 7-0 in his career against the Cowboys.

Have fun

Yeah, Randy Moss plays Dallas with a vengeance. He's still bitter that Jerry passed on him in the draft.

Think that was on his mind when he was so hard pressed to get Bryant this year?

I think it's been on his mind every year since Moss came out, honestly. Jerry has long been a gambler. He didn't gamble on Moss, and look what happened. So then you see Jerry taking a chance on guys like Pacman, Sensabaugh, Tank Johnson, etc. I'm ok with the gambles. He comes out ahead on more than he loses on.

If I was Jerry, I would look at it from a different point of view.

Moss wouldn't be who he is if he didn't go to Minnesota. He ran into the perfect situation for his rookie year. A great receiver that actually wanted to teach him, and a quarterback (make no mistake, Cunningham looked washed up before that season) who got lucky and had a career of his life.

If he had come to dallas, who was going to throw him the ball? Aikman was pretty much done by then. I believe that was Irvins last year. The offense they used at the time was based on strictly timing patterns, and very little down the field throwing. Maybe they would have adjusted to Moss' talent, but knowing the coaching staff at that time, they would have screwed it all up. He wouldn't have shined as big if he came here.

Yeah Moss would have had Carter throwing to him and we all know how good Carter was.

Wow, what a battle between Baltimore and New England. Toward the end of OT I thought this game might end in a tie. Pats finally got the winning field goal with about a minute left in OT. Great game to watch.

I'm holding off on the Raiders/49ers pick until I know whether Smith or Carr is going to start for the 49ers.
