Went to the range with my new clubs.

Man what a difference. I ended up getting some callaway x-20's from a local store.

I only hit my 9 and 4 iron today. I started off with a consistent swing and then it went to crap. As soon as i can get a consistent swing that i feel i can go back too if i find myself screwing up. Then I'm going to start working on accuracy. I will say that 90% of my shots do go straight or a slight draw left. When it hooks im hitting it on the toe with the club face open. Im not sure if the club is turning or if its my down swing. It feels as if its turning on me.

I wish my range was cheaper. Its 6 bucks for maybe 30 balls. I;ve got a card that enables me to get another small bag for free. So maybe 50 balls for what should be 10 bucks.

I'm want to play a round and see how i can improve. It cost 25 for 9 holes and that is alot of hits on the range for me right now.

I wish i could hit farther, but that will come with time. My limiting factor in my swing is my shoulder. That is one reason i want to play so i can get some range back. I had surgery on it on june 15th.

What you might call solitude is something i look forward to.

That's pretty steep, where are you at?

I had surgery for a torn labrum in my shoulder and golfing and fishing are the only two things that I can still do without pain. Just don't push it.

$6 for a small bucket is about the same rate as DA's near me.

you might want to find out if any of the courses near you have player development program.
usually for a fair monthly price you wind up getting unlimited range use, along with free or discounted golf after a certain time.

I do Player Development at a course near me. It's only 30 a month, and I get a good discount on rates after 1pm. Unlimited range balls and all that jazz.

I wish my courses would offer some cheaper options. It's either all or nothing.1000 for the year for unlimited range, golf course, cart.

I'd love to just pay 30 bucks. It's to late in the season now but for unlimited range is 200. It is just not worth it for me.

What you might call solitude is something i look forward to.

Not worth it??? Four months for 200 = 50 per month. I'll do 2 80-120 ball range sessions a week, not including miscellaneous trips and not paying for a small bucket before a round. For how few they give you there, that's a no brainer.
