2010 NFL Season

Yeah yeah yeah, it's early. Training camp starts next week, so let's open the discussions. This forum has been dead, it's time to get some life back in it.

Anyone want to make predictions? Thoughts, comments, etc? Who will be the contenders, and who will be the losers?

Who will be worse this year? STL or WAS? Why do people think somehow, Washington is going to become an overnight contender? I'll give you that they have an actual quarterback, that can complete a pass. I'll give you that they have one of the elite coaches in the league. That's not going to be enough. Especially not in the NFCE. Sure, they will be fierce competitors in the next few years, but not this year....

Come on assholes, let's talk football.

My Standings for the nfc east, and the division winners:

NFC East
Dallas
Philly
Giants
Skins

NFC North
Vikings

NFC South
Saints

NFC West
Who cares

AFC East
Jets

AFC North
Ravens

AFC South
Colts

AFC West
.....Who Cares

Terrell Owens will be signed by some terrible team like the Rams. And then finally retire
Romo will lead the league in TD's, and yards.
Favre will come back and hand off to peterson all day.
Eagles will actually be descent with there new qb.
Fat head albert pantiesinawadhaynseworth will get hurt early in the season.
Cowboys become first team to win a super bowl at home.
Bcoop will have a distincitive slanted view on how awesome the Cowboys really are.

Win the North
Win the SB against the Colts

Cowboys 11-5
Win the East
Lose 2nd round Playoff game to Minnesota

Biggest improvement: Rams

Biggest poser: Patriots

I do however, agree that KC takes the west. Denver goes 8-8. You heard it here first.

I told you, Terrell Owens is going to the Rams.......

A three way tie in the AFC West maybe??? KC, Denver and SD all go 8-8.

But they don't have him.... Yet.... And if they don't do something soon, someone else will snag him up. Too many teams need WRs. If hoe goes to STL, he will be the clear, undisputed #1. But that's pretty bad when your #1 is past his prime, gives up on routes, etc.

I think SD and Denver are both going to be severely disappointed this year. Just my prediction. I think KC gets 11-12 wins. I'll need to double ck their schedule to confirm though.

The Rams have the 2nd easiest schedule.

Chiefs have the 9th easiest.

Nice to see the Cowboys "fans" having optimism, but they will not win the Super Bowl at home because they won't even make it. The Ravens look pretty solid and I'm not looking forward to my Steelers playing them this year.

Oh whatever. Everyone that's posted in this thread so far, is a true Cowboys "fan". That really is the only dig you have when the Cowboys come up. You could at least throw in a "Homo" joke every once in a while, you know, to break the cycle.

Steelers win under 10 games this year, and lose their division. Rapeswithboogers rapes 3 more women this year.

I think the Steelers will finish 11-5. Not sure if that will be enough to win the division, but probably will earn them a wildcard spot.

And Romo the Homo's collapsible presence under center during the playoffs gives me more than enough ammunition each year.

You're right. It's not like he faced the best D line in the league or anything. Jackass.

I have the Rams splitting both Arizona and Seattle series. 9-7 will win that division, again.

Meh, that's why we're here. Cuss and discuss.

He certainly didn't have any problems with the Feagles in the playoffs. How convenient for you to forget.

He can not be blamed for every single TEAM collapse. That's fucking absurd. That would be like calling Heinz Ward a rapist because Ben raped some whores. Use a little logic, man.

Let me guess..... Your "evidence" starts with the fumbled hold. I swear to God, if I hear one more fucking thing about that hold, I might snap. Nevermind that he shouldn't have been out there holding. And he did everything he could to get out of it.

There's that, not to mention his performance in that game wasn't too stellar

There's the interception against the Giants the following year at the end of the game, also with his performance not being much to brag about.

I'll give you the Eagles game, but they laid a fucking egg against the Vikes.

Now that's a stupid question. I mean, really. Lose possession outright or try and make something out of nothing? I'll take my chances.

Geor's pussy wider than Kim Kardashians ass.

Seriously, the steelers and ravens will go down to the last couple of games in the season. I just see the Ravens barely getting by.

I think the Ravens are going to be pretty tough to beat this year. Remember, they now have Boldin.

It's 100 fucking degree's out here, and we're talking football...

It shows you how unpopular the Steeler's really are when their star QB has to force himself onto a slut to get some pussy.

I'll admit that I get some wood when I think about the 'Boy's starring in the Super Bowl here at home, but it will be VERY tough. The line is showing a little age, and we need some receiver's to nut up and play this year.

You need a RB to nut up and play this year as well.

Jones didn't have any issues last year. Neither did Choice. If it's Barber you are speaking of, well, his good years are gone. I just wish the Cowboys had learned how to use him properly.

None of them impressed me last year, honestly. I'm not dogging on their ability because they can all play the game. That said, Jones got dinged and wasn't 100% for several games, which I understand, but you have to have tough durable backs on roster. Same for Barber, he just hasn't been the same since '08 before he got dinged up. Not much breakaway speed or able to break as many one armed tackles. Choice just didn't seem to really have the star quality that the Cowboys need. Not too mention that none of them are truly a power back to provide that all-in-one status. They all have good aspects of their games, but none have it all, IMO. I really thought they would go after a guy like LT(for example) for 3rd/4th and short situations, HB pass, and some screen plays.

1. fuck the cowboys
2. fuck the cowboys fairweather fans
3. missing B. Cushing the first 4 games is going to hurt the Texans
4. if the texans can get a half way decent start i foresee another winning season, and possibly the playoffs (yes i am prolly overly optomistic)
5. fuck the cowboys
6. fuck the cowboys fairweather fans calling for the superbowl way before the season even starts just like every year. ( it wont happen this year either)
