Isaac Bruce To Retire

This is both a great day and a sad day as a Rams fan today. Happy cause Bruce is going to retire as a Ram thanks to the 49ers trading Bruce to us so that way he can do that. Respect points for the 49ers just went up a little. But a sad day cause he was apart of so many memories of the Rams. Winning TD catch in Super Bowl XXXIV, part of the Greatest Show on Turf, great leader and people on the Rams or 49ers respected him. That was shown in Week 17 last year when the 49ers played their last game of the season in St. Louis, and every receiver on the 49ers cold Coach Singletary and the staff that they want Bruce to start in what was probably his last game of his career and it being in St. Louis.

2nd in Receiving Yards with (15,208)
5th in Receptions (1,024)
9th in Receiving Touchdowns (91)

Pretty much owns every single receiving record there is in Rams Franchise History.

He will get in the Hall of Fame and should be a first ballot or at least his 2nd year. he will get in quicker than TO.

I didn't even know he was still playing.

I wouldn't actually call it playing. More like participating. No disrespect to the guy as he had a great career and was one of the greatest receiver of all time, but he really didn't offer much last year.

I agree, he had the ankle injury and he became a more of a leader and helped the receivers around him get better. In St. Louis it was lead by example. I remember Demarco Farr saying that Isaac Bruce ran other receivers out of St. Louis cause of his work ethic. Rams are going to retire #80 also this next year.
