Looks to be a pretty damn good card.
This month's DREAM event will air live in North American on HDNet.
DREAM.14, which takes place at Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan, airs live in the early-morning hours of May 29 at 3 a.m. ET (midnight PT).
The show marks DREAM's return of a cage (rather than a roped ring) that the promotion first debuted in 2009.
Seven bouts have already been announced for the show, which is the organization's first since DREAM.13 in March. Featured matchups include Strikeforce champ Nick Diaz vs. Hayato Sakurai (non-title fight), Federico "Kiko" Lopez vs. Norifumi "Kid" Yamamoto, Kazushi Sakuraba vs. Ralek Gracie, and Joachim Hansen vs. Hiroyuki Takaya.
It's a solid lineup considering the loss the fight card saw earlier this month. Initially, DREAM.14 was expected to take place in South Korea and feature the opening round of the organization's since-scratched light-heavyweight grand prix. Notables such as Gegard Mousasi, Renato "Babalu" Sobral and Strikeforce champ Muhammed "King Mo" Lawal were once possibilities for the tourney field.
The latest DREAM.14 card includes:
Federico "Kiko" Lopez vs. Norifumi "Kid" Yamamoto
Kazushi Sakuraba vs. Ralek Gracie
Yoshiro Maeda vs. Kenji Osawa
Strikeforce champ Nick Diaz vs. Hayato Sakurai (non-title fight)
Joachim Hansen vs. Hiroyuki Takaya
