If Cavs Lose, Where Will Lebron Be In 2011?

If the Celtics win tonight and eliminate the Cavaliers, have we seen the last of Lebron James in a Cavs uniform, and if so where does he go?

Me personally, if the Cavs lose then he is gone. I thought if the Cavs win the Championship he stays, but if he dosent then he goes somewhere else.

Also Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh, Amare Staudimire, Carlos Boozer, Joe Johnson, and Dirk Nowitzki are also free agency. I think Bosh, Johnson, and Wade have a good chance of leaving Toronto, Atlanta, or Miami. Whats your take

The Ticket reported this morning that his s/o was here rolling around looking at houses in a limo.

Who knows if it's true or not, but damn that would be nice. Unfortunately, I don't see it happening. Too much money tied up in big money long term deals. Kidd, Marion, and Terry.

I think Lebron is going to leave for the Knicks or the Nets cause they have the money. If Dirk can resign a deal and free up some of that 21 million then they can maybe get someone else. I was all for getting Joe JOhnson in Dallas, but after what he did against the Magic series I dont want him here. He is a quitter, and thats something Dallas dosent need.

Never thought about Lebron playing for San Antonio but that would be one hell of a site to watch!

Tim Duncan
Manu Ginobili
Tony Parker
LeBron James
Antonio McDyess

All of those guys can put up 30+ points on you real quick... Except McDyess of course lol.

I dont know about Parker though. He is rumored to be part of a deal that would send him to the Knicks.

The question is why Lebron would want to come here? If hes tired of Cleveland and still wants to go to a winning team then Dallas is a right fit. If he wants a owner that will always try to do what is necessary to win, Dallas is the right fit. If he is tired of freezing his ass off, Dallas is the right fit. But if he wants money, then Dallas isnt that right fit.

i have this strange feeling lebron will be a maverick next year like everything is lining up just right.

it's pretty much what philsanity said two posts up.

ny and nj have money but unless one of those places to land 2 big name free agents (lebron plus bosch, wade, johnson, boozer, or stoudamire, etc.), i dont think lebron will want to play for a team that WILL do worse than his current situation.

if he wants to win, he will come to dallas.

Lol @ LeBron going to SA. Never going to happen. He wants a bigger market. SA isn't it.

He won't go to NY or NJ, because he will have to start all over and it will be a few years before they are a contender.

Honestly, Dallas would be his best fit. Mavericks have had what, 10 50 win seasons in a row? Once again though, I think money will keep it from happening.

For how desperate I think Dirk is to win a Champonship (and in a Mavs uniform). I bet he would take a pay cut (with a bonus attached) to free up some money.

probably a better chance in Dallsa or San Antonio than in Cleveland. Other than Lebron the Cavs dont really have a young core of guys.

Dampier is an instant-expiring, creating the ability for a team to shave an instant $12M +(can't remember his exact amount) if they release him. Package this with some talent and/or other expiring or soon to expire contracts and Dallas looks as good as ANYONE to be able to put something together.

Piss on Lebron. "King" of what? High school gym's? What's he won? Then acts like he did after a HUGE fail in that series against the Celtics? He got HANDLED...

This shows teams salaries for the current season and upcoming, as well as Options on players.

Lebron will leave Cleveland, I feel Chicago would be probably his best bet. Miami probably number 2, and Dallas could be number 3.

There is only one person that can decide what Lebron does, and thats Lebron. If he wants money he goes to New York, New Jersey, or Chicago. If he wants to win then he goes to Dallas or maybe even Clippers. If he wants to be happy then he stays in Cleveland.

Cleveland isnt going to get any better. Jamison and Shaq arent getting younger, and other than Mo Williams they dont really have a young core.

New York and New Jersey are tempting cause not only can Lebron sign a big contract, but both teams have the money to sign 2 big free agents.

Clippers would be better if Blake Griffin started all season, and they do have Chris Kaman and Baron Davis.
